Personalised Medicine and Prisma

Through the EU-funded project EuroBioForum, Prisma & Associates is since 2011 involved in helping the European Commission to enhance the development and implementation  of personalised medicine by fostering more collaboration between researchers and funders.
Personalised medicine should enable the provision of the right drug at the right dose to the right patient at the right time. This requires well-thought policy and regulatory measures together with the multi-disciplinary involvement of biologists, physicians, technology developers, data scientists, patient groups and other stakeholders.

The primary goal of EuroBioForum is to build a platform of partnerships across Europe and beyond so that key players in the field are informed about the current initiatives, agree on the goals of the field, and can stimulate progress that meets the needs of scientists and funders.

To date, EuroBioForum has organised several Annual Conferences and workshops, bringing together policymakers and funders from many European and non-European countries.

Although the project finished at the end of 2014, the coordination efforts will be continued by the newly established EuroBioForum Foundation. The next Annual Conference will be held in Luxembourg on 28 and 29 October 2015 in collaboration with the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine.
